PANews reported on December 13 that the modular blockchain Lava Network announced that Proposal #28 has been passed, deciding to extend the lock-up period of LAVA tokens by one year to January 2026.
It is reported that since its launch in the summer of 2024, Lava Network has been close to completing the migration to the full mainnet, which is expected to be completed in early 2025. At present, Lava Network has processed about 100 billion RPC requests, with about 40 million monthly active users, and has provided more than $1 million in incentives to data providers and LAVA stakers. Next, Lava will work on implementing relevant upgrades on the mainnet to execute an extended lock-up period.
