ASXN built a dashboard to gain more insight into the HYPE airdrop:
- Total number of recipients: 94,000 wallets
- Average airdrop: 2915.66 HYPE
- Median airdrop: 64.53 HYPE
At HYPE’s current price of over $7, HYPE has airdropped tokens worth nearly $2 billion, with an average of nearly $20,000 per address! (The median of nearly $400 better reflects the earnings of most participants after excluding whales.)
We analyze the top holders’ allocation, active TWAPs, locked tokens, and holder distribution:

- 25th percentile: 14.98 HYPE
- 50th percentile: 64.42 HYPE
- 75th percentile: 379.90 HYPE
- 99th percentile: 58317.95 HYPE
The total range is from 0.11 HYPE to 1,975,126.70 HYPE.
There are currently 70,300 HYPE token holders, of which the largest non-team holder is 0xfe...fe, which owns 8.5 million HYPE tokens.
We can examine the holders of HYPE tokens after creation:
Most wallets holding HYPE hold between 16 and 64 tokens. The distribution of holders is as follows:
- 13,500 wallets (20.6%) hold between 16 and 64 tokens
- 13,500 wallets (20.6%) hold between 64 and 256 tokens
- 8,400 wallets (12.8%) hold between 256 and 1,000 tokens
- 5,400 wallets (8.2%) hold between 1,000 and 4,100 tokens

Hyperliquid’s TWAP feature seems to be very attractive, with many wallets choosing to buy or sell HYPE tokens over a longer period of time, thereby reducing large price fluctuations.
