PANews reported on January 2 that according to official news, Web3.0 security company CertiK has recently released the "Hack3d: 2024 Annual Security Report". The report shows that the total losses caused by security incidents in the Web3.0 field in 2024 exceeded US$2.363 billion, a year-on-year increase of 31.61%. A total of 760 security incidents occurred throughout the year, of which phishing and private key leakage were the two main means of attack, causing losses of US$1.05 billion and US$855 million respectively. The losses caused by phishing attacks accounted for nearly 50% of the total losses for the whole year, becoming the biggest threat to industry security.
