PANews reported on November 26 that Uniswap Labs announced the launch of a bug bounty program with a total amount of up to $15.5 million, the largest bug bounty program in history, which aims to discover and fix critical vulnerabilities in the Uniswap v4 core contract. Uniswap v4 is the latest iteration of the Uniswap protocol, adding a new "hooks" function that allows developers to customize pools, transactions, fees, and liquidity providers (LP) position interactions. This version aims to significantly save user costs, reduce pool creation fees by 99.99%, and optimize the cost of multi-hop transactions.

The Uniswap v4 code has undergone independent audits from nine institutions including OpenZeppelin and Trail of Bits, and has undergone multiple rounds of community security competitions, and no major vulnerabilities have been found.
