PANews reported on December 16 that 23pds , the chief information security officer of SlowMist Technology, warned on the X platform that the cryptocurrency stealing Trojan MacOS Stealer has been completely open sourced recently. Previously, its source code was sold for 1 BTC. This open source allows more attackers to easily obtain and use the tool, which may lead to more complex attack methods and seriously threaten the security of crypto assets. The Trojan has the functions of stealing browser and plug-in information, attacking multiple cryptocurrency wallets, obtaining system information and passwords, anti-debugging and virtual machine detection, as well as information feedback and remote control. Users need to be highly vigilant and take measures to protect the security of their devices and crypto assets.
