PANews reported on December 5 that Mantle (formerly BitDAO) allegedly reached an OTC agreement with FTX/Alameda clearing agency through Mirana Ventures to repurchase 100 million BIT tokens held by the latter. According to on-chain data, two days ago, Mantle transferred $38.73 million in stablecoins to the FTX/Alameda address, and subsequently received 105 million BITs. The OTC price is estimated to be about $0.367. The current price of $MNT (formerly BIT) has risen to $1.03.
It is worth noting whether FTX/Alameda clearing agency may also buy back the 3.362 million FTT tokens (now worth $9.18 million) swapped with BitDAO three years ago. At present, these FTTs are still in Mantle’s address and may become part of the subsequent clearing cooperation between the two parties.
