PANews reported on December 9 that according to Forbes, former FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) is serving a 25-year sentence in the New York Metropolitan Detention Center for fraud. He is currently writing a prison diary and plans to sell it to the media. The diary records the details of his life in prison, including the discomfort caused by the lack of pillows, interactions with other prisoners, and the abuse of "Deuce" drugs in prison.

SBF also criticized the lack of a clock in the prison, which led to a loss of sense of time, and described in detail his experience of trading prisoners for makeshift pillows. At the same time, he mentioned that he would meet with a legal assistant every day and keep in touch with his lawyer father through video. SBF's diary describes the prison culture from an observer's perspective, reflecting his struggle to adapt to his new life and his deep reflection on freedom and identity.
