PANews reported on November 18 that according to CNA, Taiwan's "legislators" were concerned about the taxation of cryptocurrency in Taiwan today. Minister of Finance Zhuang Cuiyun said that the profits from related transactions will be subject to income tax, and the audit will be further studied; Director of the Taxation Bureau Song Xiuling said that the tax department currently has audit tools available to review the transaction of digital products, and promised to study the taxation methods for cryptocurrency trading income within 3 months.
