PANews reported on November 14 that according to Jinshi , before the Trump administration and its enthusiasm for digital assets came to power, SEC Chairman Gary Gensler was making a final lobbying to allow the agency to regulate the cryptocurrency market. Gensler said that the experience of the Great Depression made policymakers realize the "importance of disclosure terms because information about securities creates a public product."
