CFTC Accusation Accelerates BitMEX Traders’ Exit
On October 2, Arcane Research data showed that, affected by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) accusation, traders are accelerating to leave the market in the past few hours. The total amount of open interest (OI) of XBTUSD perpetual contracts on the BitMEX platform plummeted by 11%, and the open position of Bitcoin contracts fell to 61,869 BTC (approximately calculated at the current price), setting a yearly low. The previous annual low was set on April 30, but the open position touched 61,975 BTC.
