PANews reported on January 6 that according to Bitcoin.com, in October 2024, the number of ETH locked in the Liquidity Staking Platform (LSD) exceeded 14 million, but then fell back. As of January 5, 2025, these platforms have locked about 13.78 million ETH, a decrease of 70,000 from 13.85 million at the end of November. Currently, the total amount of ETH locked in these LSD platforms accounts for 11.44% of the circulating supply of ETH (120,474,080).
Among these platforms, Lido dominates, holding 9.64 million ETH staked, accounting for 69.96%, worth $34.9 billion. However, the number of staked ETH on Lido has fallen by 160,000 since November 30, 2024, when it reached 9.8 million. Meanwhile, Binance's Liquid Staking Platform attracted 150,000 ETH in new stakes in the past 36 days. Rocket Pool continued to experience capital outflows, losing 479,374 ETH from October 29 to the end of November, and another 7,743 in the past 36 days.
