PANews reported on December 3rd that according to TechCrunch, former NBA player Omri Casspi launched a new fund Swish Ventures with a scale of US$60 million, focusing on investing in early-stage startups in the fields of cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and AI. The fund plans to support 10 companies, with each investment amount ranging from US$5 million to US$7 million.
This is Casspi’s second fund after the $36 million Sheva Capital fund launched in 2022. Swish Ventures is backed by Sequoia Capital and other institutions, and has attracted several founders of Sheva portfolio companies to join the ranks of investors. Swish Ventures focuses on supporting technology entrepreneurs in Israel and the United States.
