PANews reported on December 16 that Cosmos shared its "Plan for Reforming the Cosmos and Cosmos Hub Ecosystem Growth" on the X platform: The growth of liquidity within Cosmos and the Cosmos Hub will become Interchain Inc.'s top priority in 2025, with the goal of increasing Cosmos' liquidity 10 times in the first 12 months. Two specific strategies include: 1. Building and investing in a "world-class" ecosystem growth team; 2. Unleashing the Cosmos Hub to drive ecosystem growth.
Regarding the first strategy, the Ecosystem Growth Team is committed to supporting builders, institutions, partners, and users to join Cosmos and its ecosystem, community, and technology and succeed. The team will be responsible for Cosmos' education and project funding/growth initiatives, and will set up Builders, Hubs, and Institutional departments to provide end-to-end support for these groups in Cosmos.
Regarding the second strategy: Interchain Inc. will support the maintenance and development of the Cosmos Hub, and has been researching and testing a new roadmap to transform it into a growth engine and a true "Hub" for the ecosystem. The Hub should perform many functions that are critical to the ecosystem: ① The Hub can serve as a native bridge that is consistent with the ecosystem, cheap, and extremely fast, introducing liquidity for external assets; ② By providing services such as oracles, security, interoperability, and liquidity from day one, the Hub can become the best place to deploy thousands of new applications and sovereign chains, and Skip's product suite can play a huge role in this regard; ③ By upgrading to the latest version of the Interchain stack, deploying IBC Eureka, and significantly speeding up block times, the Hub can once again become the benchmark for Cosmos L1; ④ The Hub can serve as a contact point to aggregate and introduce suppliers to cooperate with other parts of the ecosystem (such as custodians, centralized exchanges, and top infrastructure providers). The ideas shared here are just a starting point, and any future implementation will be in collaboration with the broader community.
