PANews reported on January 7 that Solv Protocol tweeted that its official Twitter account was hacked and a fake Ethereum address was posted at 1:00 am (UTC) on January 5. Although the team deleted the post within 15 minutes and issued warnings through multiple channels, some users still suffered losses.

Solv has worked with the SlowMist team to investigate the incident and strengthen security measures to prevent similar problems from happening again. At the same time, Solv promised to fully compensate verified affected users if the funds cannot be recovered. Security expert Yu Xian said that the attack method was complex and premeditated, but the team has overcome some technical obstacles and the relevant investigation is still ongoing.
