PANews reported on November 15 that according to Jinshi, US President-elect Trump said on Thursday that the government efficiency panel led by Musk will release a report on its work to streamline the US government. "They will come up with separate reports, and there will be a big report at the end," Trump said in a speech at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. This is the first time Trump has provided new details about the panel's report since the panel was announced earlier this week. Trump said on Tuesday that the panel will "provide advice and guidance from outside the government" to streamline the government, cut regulations, reduce spending and reorganize federal agencies. Both Trump and Musk have said that the panel will make significant budget cuts. However, the U.S. Constitution gives Congress power over the federal budget. Congress can accept or ignore the advice of external groups, such as the proposed efficiency panel.
