PANews reported on November 20 that according to Decrypt, Yield Guild Games (YGG) announced the launch of the Onchain Guilds platform on Coinbase's Ethereum Layer-2 network Base, aiming to further expand the blockchain ecosystem in the Philippines. The platform allows collectives to record and manage their work and achievements through blockchain, similar to the "blockchain version of LinkedIn."
Gabby Dizon, CEO of YGG, said that Onchain Guilds provides tools for game teams, artists, and content creators to track contributions, manage assets, and connect with YGG's partner network. Dizon emphasized that Onchain Guilds is not only applicable to games, but will also be applied to freelancers and AI data annotation, and will promote the gradual on-chainization of online transactions.
As reported earlier this month, the YGG token is now live on the Base network .
