PANews reported on November 26 that Avalanche announced the official launch of the Avalanche9000 testnet and launched a retroactive reward program called Retro9000, with a total reward of up to $40 million, including a $2 million referral reward. The program will specifically reward developers who develop L1 blockchains and related key development tools on the Avalanche9000 testnet.
Avalanche9000 includes Etna upgrades, ACP-77, ACP-125 and other technical updates, which will reduce deployment costs by 99.9%, simplify customization and enhance maintenance performance. Currently, there are more than 500 L1 projects being developed on the testnet and mainnet, covering a variety of fields such as community games, small business payment solutions and institutional research.
