PANews reported on November 8 that according to Jinshi, the total size of the Federal Reserve's balance sheet fell below $7 trillion for the first time since August 2020, which means that the Fed has reduced its balance sheet by about $2 trillion in this round. The Fed previously stated in its latest statement that it would maintain the scale of balance sheet reduction unchanged, that is, reduce its holdings of US$25 billion in US Treasuries and US$35 billion in MBS each month.
