PANews reported on January 9 that HIVE Digital Technologies announced that the crypto mining company mined a total of 103 bitcoins in December 2024, and its HODL reserves increased to 2,805 BTC, a year-on-year increase of 64.6%. The average mining capacity was maintained at 5.5 EH/s, the BTC peak hash rate reached 6.0 EH/s, and the BTC equivalent peak hash rate reached 6.3 EH/s. As of December 31, 2024, HIVE's Bitcoin holdings were worth more than $261.9 million, based on a BTC closing price of approximately $93,400.
