PANews reported on December 23 that according to CoinDesk, Sonic, a gaming-focused Layer-2 protocol based on Solana, announced that it will airdrop its native token SONIC to all users registered through the social media platform TikTok.

Sonic built its game SonicX natively within the TikTok platform, trying to replicate the success of TON blockchain in building mini-apps within Telegram. Currently, SonicX has attracted more than 2 million users through TikTok.
