PANews reported on November 28 that according to Bloomberg, former Binance executive Amrita Srivastava filed a whistleblower lawsuit in the UK, accusing a colleague of asking for bribes from customers to speed up the service process, and claimed that she was unfairly fired for exposing the incident. Srivastava said that the colleague charged customers fees in the name of "consulting services" and lied that he was not a Binance employee.

Binance responded that the company had been aware of the matter and launched an internal investigation. Srivastava was fired for poor performance and the decision to fire her was made before she filed a report.
