PANews reported on December 18 that according to CoinDesk, Solana's network activity surged on Tuesday as the NFT project Pudgy Penguins issued its native token PENGU. According to Artemis data, Solana recorded 66.9 million transactions yesterday, the highest transaction volume since its establishment in 2020. In addition, Solana's transaction volume yesterday exceeded the total transaction volume of all other major blockchains on the same day. Solana also leads other blockchains in daily decentralized exchange transaction volume and daily active addresses, but lags behind Base, Ethereum and Tron in stablecoin transfer volume.
