PANews reported on November 12 that Unichain’s official Twitter account released a withdrawal guide for early developers to access the bridged ETH. For users who deposited ETH through an unconfirmed Unichain bridge, the official document provides steps to withdraw ETH back to the mainnet.
The withdrawal process is outlined below:
1. Initiate a withdrawal on L2 : Users can initiate a withdrawal through an L1 deposit transaction or directly on L2.
2. Relay the withdrawal to L1 : This step requires waiting for the proposer to propose an output containing the withdrawal on L1, which is generally updated every hour.
3. Complete the withdrawal on L1 : Users need to wait for a 7-day failure challenge period after relaying, and then run the command to finally complete the withdrawal.
Unichain’s official documentation provides detailed steps and technical requirements for developers to use CLI tools and the Uniswap V2 SDK to perform arbitrary L1 to L2 contract calls, including fund exchange and data submission.
