PANews reported on November 8 that the Shenzhen Branch of the People's Bank of China launched a digital RMB visual hard wallet at the 18th Shenzhen International Financial Expo. The hard wallet is only 1 mm thick, equipped with an ink screen and dynamic QR code function, supports NFC and scan code payment, broadens the applicable scenarios, and facilitates users to check balances and transaction records. It is especially suitable for users such as the elderly, students, and foreigners.
The hard wallets released this time include seven cards with Shenzhen characteristics, including those from Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Agricultural Bank of China, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Postal Savings Bank of China, Bank of Communications, and China Merchants Bank. The Shenzhen branch also improved the convenience of issuing cards through 34 self-service card issuing machines, and expanded multiple recharge methods, such as foreign currency and overseas credit card recharge.
