PANews reported on November 26 that according to cnBeta, OpenAI has added an "Open SearchGPT" option to the "Shortcuts" app on iPhone and iPad, allowing users to launch the ChatGPT app and call the web search function through shortcuts. Users need to update to the latest version of the ChatGPT app to enable the SearchGPT operation in shortcuts.
The SearchGPT feature was first launched at the end of October this year, aiming to improve the web search experience, provide more relevant links and contextual information, and support users to ask follow-up questions. Currently, users with ChatGPT Plus and ChatGPT Teams can access the SearchGPT feature, and OpenAI plans to open it to free users in the next few months.
