PANews reported on November 16 that according to CoinDesk, the lending platform Aave is seeking community input to understand the level of interest in deploying Spiderchain on the Bitcoin L2 network. The Aave-Chain Initiative (ACI), the driving force behind the protocol, has released a draft for comments on a proposal by Spiderchain developer Botanix Labs that aims to expand the scale of lenders and lock more than $17 billion worth of funds in the emerging Bitcoin DeFi environment. After collecting feedback, the protocol will need to identify and mitigate potential security risks. ACI has not yet provided an expected timeline for this process.
