PANews reported on December 30 that according to MicroStrategy's latest 8-K filing, MicroStrategy announced that between December 23, 2024 and December 29, 2024, it used proceeds from the issuance and sale of shares under the underwriting agreement to purchase approximately 2,138 bitcoins for approximately $209 million in cash, with an average price of approximately $97,837 per bitcoin (including fees and expenses). As of December 29, 2024, MicroStrategy and its subsidiaries held a total of approximately 446,400 bitcoins, with a total purchase price of approximately $27.9 billion and an average purchase price of approximately $62,428 per bitcoin (including fees and expenses).
