On January 30, NTT, Japan’s largest telecommunications company, announced a partnership with ZetaChain to promote the popularization of Web3 and support cross-chain universal applications. NTT Digital said that at ZetaChain, our mission is to build a universal blockchain network that natively supports all blockchains, making cryptocurrency as convenient, diverse, and interconnected as the Internet. Today, we are excited to announce that NTT Digital, one of the world’s most influential telecommunications giants, has officially become a verification node for the ZetaChain ecosystem. Through this partnership, NTT Digital, a Fortune 500 company affiliated with the global NTT DOCOMO Group, will further consolidate ZetaChain’s position as the “preferred Layer 1 universal blockchain for seamless cross-chaining” and help the development of Universal Apps.
NTT Digital officially becomes ZetaChain validator node
NTT Digital is now running a validation node on the ZetaChain network, providing infrastructure support for developers to build universal applications that natively support multi-chain ecosystems (including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, etc.) by enhancing the network's decentralization, security and scalability.
“NTT Digital is committed to driving Web3 innovation and empowering developers to build interoperable applications that redefine user experience,” said Naoki Tani, Managing Director of NTT Digital. “Becoming a ZetaChain validator enables us to actively participate in building a secure and scalable blockchain infrastructure while contributing to building a unified, connected digital future.”
Blockchain technology is being adopted by mainstream institutions
Following industry leaders such as Google Cloud and Animoca Brands, NTT Digital’s participation once again demonstrates the confidence of institutions in ZetaChain’s vision of “connecting the future of blockchain”. With over 4 million unique wallet addresses, more than 300 dApps, and 165 million on-chain transactions, ZetaChain has a unique advantage in solving the problem of blockchain ecosystem fragmentation.
Global Web3 interoperability progress accelerates
The addition of this telecommunications giant not only enhances the security of the ZetaChain network, but will also promote the development of interoperable Web3 solutions in multiple fields around the world. ZetaChain said it looks forward to working with NTT Digital to create a better developer and user experience for cross-chain universal applications.
