Nillion, a privacy-focused computing network, announced that it has completed a new round of financing of US$25 million, led by Hack VC and participated by a group of venture capitalists and angel investors. As of now, its total financing has exceeded US$50 million.
Nillion: Building a Private and Secure Data Future
There is no doubt that data is becoming the most valuable commodity in the world. Especially in the era of personalized AI and AI agents with explosive growth in data demand, the value of data will only become higher and higher. Therefore, data must have an upgraded track to meet the growing demand for secure storage and computing in the future.
Nillion was founded three years ago with the goal of creating a privacy-secure computing network through decentralization and privacy-enhancing technologies such as secure multi-party computing and homomorphic encryption to provide better protection services for high-value data.
Nillion has completed three rounds of financing to date, namely: venture capital round, angel investment round, and community round in which CoinList participated (the previous community round of financing was valued at US$400 million, and all 35 million NIL tokens provided were sold). In addition to Hack VC, its supporters also include well-known venture capital companies in the blockchain and distributed infrastructure fields such as Distributed Global and Hashkey, as well as industry KOLs such as Ansem, Arthur Hayes and Meltem Demirors, and top projects such as Worldcoin, Injective and Sei.
Nillion has built the world's first blind computing infrastructure
The so-called "blind computing" means that sensitive data can be processed securely without revealing the content, allowing the creation of a new private data application ecosystem in all fields. Nillion's blind computing infrastructure can provide private data storage and computing capabilities for AI agents, data markets, private DeFi, healthcare analysis, etc.
At present, Nillion has reached cooperation with many well-known blockchain projects in the crypto industry, including NEAR, Aptos, Arbitrum, Mantle, IO.net, Ritual, etc., and has more than 40 BUIDLers in the ecosystem.
What is certain is that Nillion is moving towards a “perfect” world where data privacy is seamlessly integrated into developer applications.
