PANews reported on November 21 that Digital Currency Group (DCG) announced the establishment of a new subsidiary, Yuma, to support and promote the development of the Bittensor network. Bittensor is a decentralized open network on which users can create, train and access artificial intelligence. DCG founder and CEO Barry Silbert will also serve as Yuma CEO to further promote DCG's integration in the fields of encryption and artificial intelligence.

Yuma will provide capital, infrastructure and technical support to startups and large enterprises to help them develop and deploy innovative projects on the Bittensor network. Bittensor is known as the "smart World Wide Web" and uses its core technology innovation "Yuma Consensus" mechanism to fairly measure and reward contributions to the network and use the native token $TAO as an incentive.

Yuma is not only the third largest verification node of the Bittensor network, but also supports AI/ML services such as text generation, translation, and data storage by establishing and operating subnets. Currently, Yuma has cooperated with many companies to launch subnets, including Sturdy, Masa, Score, and Infinite Games. In addition, it has cooperated with Foundry to launch the S&P 500 Oracle subnet.
