PANews reported on December 3 that the machine intelligence network Spectral released a post-event report stating that its Syntax platform suffered a security vulnerability attack on December 1. Spectral said it had identified and fixed the vulnerability in the Bonding Curve contract to prevent similar attacks from happening again in the future. Zellic has been commissioned to audit the updated contract and will replenish SPEC tokens to restore Bonding Curve to its pre-attack state. The project owner said that the platform will resume operations after the audit is completed.
