PANews reported on January 31 that according to Tsinghua University’s official account, computer scientist and blockchain expert Chen Jing has left the United States and joined Tsinghua University as a full-time professor. According to the China Computer Society Digital Library, Chen Jing is a professor at Tsinghua University’s Department of Computer Science and a recipient of the National Overseas High-level Talent Program. Her main research areas are blockchain, smart contracts, computational game theory, and mechanism design. She was the chief scientist and director of theoretical research at blockchain technology company Algorand, and an assistant professor at the Department of Computer Science at Stony Brook University, State University of New York. In 2016, she won the NSF CAREER Award. Chen Jing has published many papers in top conferences and journals in computational theory and economics, and has served as the PC of important international conferences in the fields of computational theory, computational game theory, security, and blockchain.
