PANews reported on March 22 that according to News.bitcoin, Joseph Strange, the former sound engineer of American singer Eminem, was charged for allegedly leaking and selling 25 unreleased songs of Eminem for $50,000 in bitcoin. Joseph Strange is suspected of selling 25 songs written by Eminem between 1999 and 2018. The former engineer lost his job in 2021 after working in the studio for four years. He did not obtain the consent of Eminem or Interscope Records, the legal owner of these songs. Since then, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Michigan has accused Joseph Strange of copyright infringement and interstate transportation of stolen property.
