PANews reported on December 6 that after nearly four years of service, Austin Federa, strategic director of the Solana Foundation, announced his resignation and co-founded the DoubleZero project with Mateo Ward and Andrew McConnell. The project aims to build a network consisting of optical fibers and submarine cables to create a faster and more efficient "new Internet."
