In this article, we’ve curated a list of the top narratives, ecosystems, and agents to watch right now. Whether you’re a seasoned AI agent enthusiast or just getting started, this guide should save you some research time.
This will be a two-part series. In part one, we will explore the five main narratives driving the market. What's in part one?
Today we will cover the following key narratives:

1. Proxy Metaverse/World Builder
This narrative envisions a virtual world where AI agents coexist with other agents and humans. Imagine a fully immersive environment where agents evolve, learn, and create their own civilization alongside us.
Key Players:
@realisworlds: A leader in this space, building a world designed to accommodate agents and humans. Their token $realis has gained significant traction on CT thanks to its strong price action and consensus of ideas.
@hyperfy_io: This is a platform that enables users to create custom metaverse spaces. They don't have a token yet, but their infrastructure is paving the way for agent-driven virtual worlds.
Early testing
@UltiverseDAO ($ULTI): A Stardew Valley-style world builder with real-time story rendering and 2D world building tools. They will release a trailer around Christmas, so keep an eye out for it.
2. Artificial Intelligence Crypto Fund
The rise of autonomous venture funds powered by artificial intelligence (AI), which aim to use artificial intelligence to outperform human-managed funds, directly challenges the traditional crypto venture capital model.
Key Players:
@AimonicaBrands: An AI-driven venture capital fund that uses cutting-edge analytics and decision-making to outperform traditional funds.
Arthur Hayes of @cryptohayesai's AI: Their Yahctzee fund is another autonomous VC fund that competes directly with @pmairca's ai16zdao.
Early testing:
@sekoia_virtuals: AI fund supporting the Virtuals ecosystem, founded by Anand Iyer, managing partner of Canonical Ventures. It has not attracted much attention yet, but has great potential.
@BigTonyXBT: An automated trading agent based on Base, the flagship agent of @Cod3xOrg. Cod3x focuses on decentralized finance (DeFi) and is quietly building new DeFi infrastructure to unleash the next wave of AI agent capabilities.
3. AIx Gaming
The core of this narrative is to gamify AI agents to create interesting and engaging human-machine interaction scenarios. It combines game play with AI-driven personalization and practicality.
Key Players:
@ARCAgents: Leading the way in reinforcement learning. Whitepaper and new technology pipeline coming out this week - expected to lead to major breakthroughs.
Key Players:
@helpverse_ai: Focusing on research, developing visual language models (VLMs) that enable AI agents to learn skills from one game and apply them to another. This cross-game capability is an important direction for future AI agents.
@todaythegame: A 3D island simulation game featuring **@Limbo_ai**, the first 3D AI agent capable of live streaming across multiple platforms such as Twitter, Twitch, and YouTube. Limbo demonstrates the potential of AI agents in gaming entertainment by posting selfies of his adventures to engage with fans, laying the foundation for them to dominate gaming entertainment.
4. Agent-to-agent interaction/group cooperation
This narrative aims to take the interaction between agents to a new level. The scenario is as follows:
Agent A hires Agent B to create an NFT artwork;
Agent B sells it to Agent C (an art collector).
To achieve such collaboration, it is necessary to establish a standardized protocol for communication between agents, similar to the https protocol of the Internet.
Key Players:
@virtuals_io: Building a communication protocol for its AI agent society, enabling seamless inter-agent collaboration.
@StoryProtocol: An agent communication standard focused on sharing and monetizing intellectual property (IP), providing a foundation for innovation and equity distribution among agents.
@joinFXN: Developing a connectivity layer that enables agents to efficiently share and monetize resources, facilitating efficient collaboration among specialized agents.
These types of interaction and collaboration protocols will drive further development of the AI agent ecosystem, creating smarter and more dynamic agent networks.
5. AI Agent Ecosystem/Framework
These ecosystems are the backbone of the AI agent market, providing platforms, frameworks, and professional support centers for the creation, development, and deployment of agents.
Key Players:
@virtuals_io: The first ecosystem to introduce tokenization of AI agents, and still the leading distribution network with many interesting agents.
@ai16zdao: With the open source framework Eliza as the core, it has risen rapidly, surpassed $goat, and is gradually approaching $virtual.
@vvaifudotfun: A framework-agnostic proxy startup based on Solana.
@CreatorBid: We recently launched our token on Fjord, but due to a DDoS attack many people were unable to participate. The team plans to refund and re-launch in a fair manner, while integrating with @autonolas and multiple @bittensor_ subnets to bring more functionality to the proxy.
@0xzerebro: Developer of the ZerePy framework, providing open source tools to help users deploy Zerebro-style agents on the X platform, and demonstrating the creative potential of AI agents through high-quality music albums.
@HoloworldAI: Evolved from an independent 3D audio-visual layer to become part of the Virtuals ecosystem, its flagship agent @AVA_holo has now joined the Virtuals team.
@MoemateAI: A Web2-originated AI companion startup, its technology supports cross-platform operation (games, browsers, desktops, AR/VR). Its flagship agent @nebula_moemate is one of the top virtual idol agents. Although its X account was recently hacked, it plans to launch a unique agent market and token.
@arcdotfun: A new ecosystem based on the Rust framework ("Rig") has just been launched and its future performance will be worth paying attention to.
@AigentFi: The AI agent ecosystem on zksync is still in its hidden stage, and more information will be revealed soon.
Together, these frameworks and platforms drive the development of AI agents and energize the market.
