PANews reported on March 20 that according to the official announcement of Upbit, there have been recent media reports that Upbit involves intermediary fees in the process of supporting digital asset transactions. In response, Upbit issued the following statement:

1. Upbit does not charge any fees as a condition for trading support. Upbit evaluates projects through a strict internal review process and never provides trading support under any financial compensation conditions. Upbit's trading support decisions follow the "Trading Support Policy" on the official website. The specific decision-making process is as follows: Submit trading support application, preliminary/simplified review, formal evaluation, trading support review committee resolution, and trading support initiation.

2. Beware of illegal intermediaries and false information. Upbit does not allow external agencies to assist or broker transaction support. All procedures are handled directly by Upbit employees. Therefore, any company or individual who claims to guarantee Upbit transaction support and requires payment of intermediary fees is an illegal intermediary. Upbit specifically reminds users to beware of such behavior.

3. Ask the media to clarify the allegations. Upbit asked Wu Blockchain to disclose the list of digital asset projects that paid intermediary fees and provide relevant evidence so that the facts can be verified and an investigation can be launched. If illegal intermediary behavior is found, Upbit will take tough measures including legal action.

4. Reporting Channels. If a user receives a proposal for intermediary fees from someone pretending to be an Upbit employee, partner or representative, please report it through the Upbit official website or mobile application customer center.
