PANews reported on March 22 that according to CNBC, Ripple announced this week that the SEC officially withdrew its four-year lawsuit against the company. CNBC said this represented the end of the SEC's years-long crusade against the cryptocurrency industry, and the Ripple case may be the last chapter of the lawsuit because it was filed on the last day of the term of office of former SEC Chairman Jay Clayton. So far, the lawsuits or investigations against Coinbase, Kraken, Robinhood, Binance and OpenSea have all been withdrawn, resolved or shelved.
