The new fund will focus on three areas: data analysis, artificial intelligence as a new platform, and decentralized infrastructure as a database. Since the launch of its first fund, Theory has led investments in companies such as Context.ai, Initia, Superlinked, and Tobiko Data, and opened a new office in San Francisco.
