PANews reported on November 27 that according to CoinDesk, Ripple Labs has invested another $25 million in the cryptocurrency industry's Fairshake Political Action Committee to influence the 2026 US congressional elections.
The super PAC has an unprecedented lead in the 2026 election cycle. With the help of Ripple, crypto exchange Coinbase and venture capital firm Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Fairshake has accumulated $73 million in new commitments. This is in addition to the $30 million reserved for the 2024 cycle.
The PAC is still awaiting the results of the Nov. 5 U.S. congressional races, but Fairshake’s track record includes backing at least 53 members of next year’s Congress. With $103 million in campaign funds, Fairshake is a major political force that will influence the session starting in 2027.
