PANews reported on February 20 that according to Hong Kong media Oriental Daily, Richard Teng, CEO of virtual asset trading platform Binance, met with law enforcement agencies in Hong Kong to discuss promoting bilateral cooperation to combat financial and cyber crimes related to virtual assets. The two sides discussed topics including expanding and strengthening cyber defense cooperation between the public and private sectors in the blockchain ecosystem, and continuously enhancing the capabilities of law enforcement agencies in the face of increasingly complex threats and sophisticated technical criminals.
