PANews reported on October 31 that Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk posted on social media, criticizing the current US immigration system for being inverted, making it difficult for talented people to immigrate legally, while it is relatively easy to enter illegally. He questioned why "it is more difficult for Nobel Prize winners to enter legally, while criminals who enter illegally are more likely to succeed."
Musk also mentioned that he is working with former President Trump and DOGE to solve this problem.
