PANews reported on January 30 that according to Jinshi Data, the European Central Bank announced a 25 basis point interest rate cut, lowering the deposit mechanism rate to 2.75%, in line with market expectations. This is the fourth consecutive meeting of the European Central Bank to cut interest rates by 25BP. At the same time, the main refinancing rate was reduced from 3.15% to 2.90%, and the marginal lending rate was reduced from 3.40% to 3.15%.
The ECB cut its deposit rate by 25 basis points as expected, bringing it down to 2.75%.
