PANews reported on November 25 that according to Cointelegraph, Solana ecosystem platform Pump.fun has been widely criticized for out-of-control content in its live broadcast function. A user threatened to commit suicide during a live broadcast if his tokens did not reach a specified market value. The incident was exposed by Pudgy Penguins security project manager Beau, who called on the platform to intervene and suspend the live broadcast function. In addition, other live broadcasts also included violent threats, including simulated shootings, family threats, and more serious school violence remarks.

In response, Alon, the founder of Pump.fun, said that the platform has always attached great importance to content review and has a 24-hour review team and technical support team. However, the community requires more transparent measures and the immediate closure of the live broadcast function until an effective content review mechanism is implemented. At present, Pump.fun has not yet clarified whether it will adjust the live broadcast function or strengthen security measures.
