PANews reported on December 3rd that according to Türkiye Today, the US cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase decided to withdraw its initial application to enter the Turkish market and apply for liquidation. According to the liquidation list updated by the Turkish Capital Markets Board (CMB) on November 29, Coinbase's application submitted in August this year has been withdrawn and subsequently applied for liquidation.
In addition to Coinbase, QNB's digital asset unit QNB Digital Assets, Finceptor, Koinim, Stanfex and XYZ Teknoloji also applied for liquidation. At the same time, Yapi Kredi Bank submitted relevant documents to become a cryptocurrency custodian, and applied to provide custody services together with Takasbank and BtcTurk subsidiary Eliptik Digital Custody Management.
At present, the total number of companies that have applied for liquidation has reached 14, and the number of companies that are applying has increased to 77.
