PANews reported on April 1 that security company Kaspersky disclosed on the X platform: "We have discovered a highly sophisticated attack, known as OperationForumTroll, which exploits a previously unknown zero-day vulnerability in the latest version of Google Chrome. If a Windows PC user using the Chrome browser clicks on a malicious link, their computer will be infected with a virus without the victim taking any further action. We immediately alerted Google, and Google quickly fixed this vulnerability that could put millions of users at risk. We strongly recommend that all users update their Google Chrome and any Chromium-based browsers to the latest version."
