In 2024, the Polkadot ecosystem will usher in a new upgrade in technological development. The emergence of Polkadot 2.0 has attracted a large number of Web3 enthusiasts who are concerned about the Polkadot ecosystem to join the construction team and go to the new outlet of the Web3 industry. Today, developers are competing to explore the Polkadot ecosystem. What development inspirations and ingenuity have they brought? Let's take a look at the 2024 Polkadot Hackathon Competition (Bangkok Station) Final Demo Day!
The much-anticipated Bangkok final Demo Day live roadshow was held offline in Bangkok on November 16. In this Hacker competition that spanned nearly four months, we saw like-minded developers interacting wonderfully and developing amazing innovative projects. A total of 342 developers signed up for this competition (from China, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Germany, India, France, Poland, Italy, Mexico, Ukraine, the Netherlands, Ecuador, Thailand, South Africa, Vietnam, Tanzania, Turkey, Indonesia, Serbia, Nigeria, Georgia, Malaysia, Czech Republic, Chile and other 30+ countries and regions) , formed 126 teams, completed 71 development projects, and a total of 56 projects were submitted to the preliminary review of the competition. In the end , 27 projects entered the final Demo Day after fierce competition and received strong support from senior industry experts, investors and other Web3 practitioners.
4 workshops, 1 pre-demo, mentor Q&A and other activities led developers to deeply experience the open, collaborative, free and inclusive atmosphere of the Polkadot ecosystem developer community, and put practical efforts in the direction of deep technical cultivation. On November 16, the 2024 Polkadot Hackathon Competition (Bangkok Station) Final Demo Day witnessed the birth of the highest honor of this competition!

On November 16, a total of 27 participating projects participated in the 2024 Polkadot Hackathon (Bangkok) final Demo Day roadshow offline in Bangkok, Thailand.
Each shortlisted team presented the following project dimensions in order, including:
Project introduction : Project introduction + Industry positioning: Why do this project + Industry benchmarking projects + Advantages + Industry prospects
Team introduction : relevant experience and strengths of team members + team structure
Project core product demonstration : core highlights
Future planning : One-year Milestone planning + What features will be implemented in the next three months

Final scoring dimensions 50%:
Business value (20%) : It can solve problems and can be used in industry scenarios you know;
Innovation (20%) : novel ideas, groundbreaking, and breaking with conventional thinking;
User experience (10%): This includes how intuitive and understandable the proposed solution is to potential users.
