PANews reported on January 9 that according to Globenewswire, Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer released an unaudited mining and operations update report for December 2024, which disclosed that it produced 145 BTC from self-mining in the month, compared with 150 BTC from self-mining last month and 434 BTC from self-mining in December 2023. The company currently holds 594 BTC.
In addition, other operational update highlights include: SEALMINER A2 production is expected to be approximately 35 EH/s by the third quarter of 2025, and the production schedule remains on track; customers have ordered approximately 7 EH/s of SEALMINER A2 for external sales, including full receipt of related advance payments; SEAL03 sample wafers with a chip efficiency of 10 J/TH are expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2025; SEAL04 research and development remains on track to achieve 5 J/TH efficiency, and the first tape-out is expected to be in the third quarter of 2025.
