PANews reported on November 4 that Bitcoin mining company MARA (formerly Marathon Digital) disclosed in its official blog that the company's hash rate increased to 40.2 EH/s in October, a 14% increase from September. Although block production decreased slightly month-on-month, BTC production increased by 2% to 717 BTC due to the increase in global hash rate and the resulting increase in difficulty levels. As of October 31, 2024, the company holds a total of 27,562 BTC, including 4,499 restricted BTC.
