PANews reported on December 18 that according to CoinDesk, Swiss cryptocurrency custody company Taurus is working with banking software provider Temenos. Taurus provides core banking software to many of the world's largest financial institutions, enabling these banks to quickly and easily create crypto wallets and transfer various digital assets.

The partnership is significant because of the sheer size of Geneva-based Temenos: the company has 67 offices in 40 countries and serves more than 3,000 banks and financial institutions. Taurus, whose cryptocurrency custody clients include Deutsche Bank and State Street, said it was the first digital asset custody platform to be fully integrated with Temenos.
