PANews reported on October 24 that according to Jinshi, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in a financial report conference call that general artificial intelligence (AGI) and super artificial intelligence (ASI) are independent research fields and have nothing to do with Tesla's core mission of developing autonomous driving and robots. He emphasized that Tesla's strategic focus is on practical applications, especially promoting technological progress through the development of FSD (full autonomous driving) systems and Optimus robots.

Musk said that the Optimus robot will be the most valuable part of Tesla's products, and may even become the most valuable product in history. He also said that Tesla has all the core elements to expand humanoid robots, including artificial intelligence brains and large-scale production capabilities, which is the company's unique advantage in the market. In addition, Tesla is integrating the FSD system into a unified technology stack to improve the overall performance of urban and highway driving.
